Marianne and Ife at Keythorpe Manor Wedding DJ
We were delighted to DJ at the Wedding of Marianne and Ife held at Keythorpe Manor in July 2021.
This was our first wedding since full dance floors were allowed again as the country moved into stage 4 of lockdown easing, and boy was it an excellent way to get back to ‘normal’ albeit travel restrictions still prevented some guests from attending.
Despite this, the dance floor was rammed all night with Afrobeats being the main order of the evening! Whilst an entire night of this genre isn’t something we had much experience in; the Couple, their guests and @ramthemc took full advantage of our online couples area to enthusiastically help to form a playlist for the evening.
Our service started with a Midday setup, Separate PA hire, dance floor and Dry Ice effect.
Marianne and Ife chose to have the ‘Dancing on Clouds’ effect for their first dance.
We did this by using our Chauvet Nimbus Dry Ice machine which is a theatre-grade effect that offers a thick cloud of fog that never goes above knee-height thus creating the illusion of ‘Dancing on Clouds’.
Please note that I don’t usually have time to take photos when DJing but I rushed to take this photo towards the end of the effect which is why the fog appears thin! I did see some sneak previews of the professional photographers shots and they look amazing!

The final item that the couple booked was our separate PA system. Within this system, we supplied;
- 1 x Sennheiser wireless handheld microphone on a stand for speeches.
- 1 x Sennheiser wireless Lavalier microphone for the MC, Ram.
- 1 x SD Card/USB Stick player for background music.
- 1 x Vocal Fx mixer with limiter and feedback destroyer.
- 1 x Bose L1 /B1 Speaker System.
This robust, professional PA system is well-suited to Weddings and any event that requires vocal reinforcement. It can also be upscaled to include more microphones and/or a larger speaker system.

Whilst we are primarily Wedding DJs we do have some wedding wows that can complement our Wedding DJ Service but we are not about the ‘hard sell’. We appreciate that everyone has a budget and we don’t push any additional services, they are here to view if you want them, if not we are just as happy to play your music.
