Wedding DJ for Leicestershire, Northamptonshire & Warwickshire
Not a cheesy DJ, but will play cheese if that’s your thing. No constant microphone use. Just a full dance floor from the first dance to the last song.

I’m Wayne. I’ve been DJing since I was 12 — long before “social media DJ” (and fake mixing!) was a job title — and 33 years later I’m still at it most weekends, mostly at weddings across Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Warwickshire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.
Three decades behind a pair of decks buys you one thing that matters on your wedding day: I can read a room. I know when to hold a floor and when to change direction, because I’ve done it at hundreds of receptions in venues across the Midlands — barns, marquees, country houses and hotel function rooms.
How I run your evening
What I won’t do
- Talk over your songs
- Introduce every track like it’s a radio show
- Run the conga or the cheesy party dances unless you ask for them
- Treat the microphone as my personal set
What I will do
- Turn up early and set up properly, well before guests arrive
- Play the music you actually want, and read the floor from there
- Handle announcements cleanly when they’re needed
- Keep people dancing until the lights come up
Your guests came to dance and talk to each other, not to listen to me. The music does the work.
Weddings are the main event, but I still take the odd day rave and the occasional two-hour terrace set — which keeps the music current rather than stuck in 1969!
